  2. my good friend CE just clued me in on the green eggs and ham parody, I had no idea, just because I didn't really read Dr. Seuss growing up. What's the point of the song, I don't get it. Please fill in the blanks for me.

  4. The concept of GE&H (in my house we say Green eggs and Lamb) is a way to communicate the idea of "try it and you may like it" in an entertaining way for children...

  7. Dear Hirshel,

I enjoy your blog, you are clearly an inteligent and knowledgable person, and come across as pretty pleasant (most of the time).

I am a Lubavitcher, I am also in Shlichus, I am just a Chossid min hashura.

I do have one objection: why do you seem to take pleasure in "onreitzen" other yidden. Why do use "snag"? You want to make a point critical of the misnagdishe way, fine. You want to point out untruths and revisionism - that has its place. But can't you take more care not to "onreitze" other yidden? It is not the way of a chossid, and it is surely not something you saw from the Rebbe. In addition, wouldn't your words be better received if you don't dash them with salt before serving?

You have a valuable blog, it is often very informative, and even a little entertaining. I hope you will seriously consider what I wrote.

    With respect,

    Yitzchok

I see you're new to this blog, and judging from your words, probably new to blogosphere. The parody here was written by a reader, I just posted it, and it's all in good fun. You do see what we have to put up with, right?

  9. HT,

I think Yitzchok was commenting in general about your blog. BTW, I know of people who have showed your blog to other people to show ' see how CHABAD hates other Yidden'. Strangly enough, that guy is a Breslover. Go figure
