The belch was there for sound affect only. They started with a tzimbel...arup mit di hoizen....a shmais or two....and again a tzimbel. These mishpootim petch were worse than di Vaaaani ones.
oy vey,does this bring back memories,in the mid 50's when i went to a Klausenburger cheder in Montreal,the Klausenburger rebbe z''l,used to come quiet often to Montreal,and he used to FARHER us kids,one time it was on parshas MISHPATIM he farherd us,and i had the luck of being asked to explain the pasuk ,that says by the SHOR TAM,VCHATZI ES KASPOI,and of course i didn't know ,so the Rebbe z'l,in jest gave me a small PATCH,and said YINGELLE DI KENST GURNISHT, boy oh boy was i embarrassed,afterwards i couldn't stop crying,and i remember harav Shmuel Unsdorfer z'L, came over and consoled me and said,Chaim''you have no idea what a ZCHUS this is getting a PATCH from the HEILIGE TZADDIK',and he continued ,believe me,i would gladly pay you big bucks and buy off from you that PATCH, Come to think of it,i am ready to deal,anyone want to start bidding for that PATCH,bidding starts at $500. Takeh Interesant , in a literary deconstructive way, Rashi's approach in those Psukim, unheib Mishpotim, that you don't find anywhere else in Rashi Al HaTorah.
In a way, it conveys a vigorous, energetic Shakla VeTarye, full of hermeneutic challenge and counter-challenge, ready to take on anything and anybody.
Vus Drikt Rashi HaKudesh in Yene Psikim?
I know this is not DerHoiben like Satmar Lubavitch Belz, Bugaboo, but I would still like an answer.

Chaim- If you are ready to sell that patch - oy - then maybe if you would've gotten a gezinte frosk you would've cherished it. A refuah sheleima...verapoy yerapei.
