However in regards to wearing a cross that's יהרג ועל יעבור I would refer the readers to שו״ת תרומת הדשן Where a tshuva was taken out and reprinted in the back It's about a bowing down to a priest wearing a cross Check it out it's clear that it's not יהרג ועל יעבור. I don't have time now to cite the whole tshuva however You can look it up and post any questions I will respond.
