הרבינו בחיי שהי' ספרדי כותב, המחליף פת"ח בקמ"ץ לא ימלט אחת משתים או יהרוס הכוונה או יבוא לידי כפירה, כי הנקודות מניעות האותיות כמו שהנשמה מניעה את הגוף. וכמו"כ הר"י עמדין שהי' ג"כ ספרדי כותב, לא כספרדים שאינם מבדילים בין קמ"ץ לפת"ח בזה הם עושים קודש לחול. ע"כ
Sorry, I do not sympathize. This "ba'al koreh", if you can call him that, doesn't know trop, girsa hamilim nor basic rules of dikduk. Use an "ungarishe" pronounciation if you wish but that does not excuse the hatchet job we hear in this clip. If I were called up I would have been correcting him left and right as well!

I have been in Ungarishe Chassidishe shuls before and have heard their leining. While they often place the stresses on syllables not marked with a ta'am they do differentiate pronounciations that affect meanings. The Cana'an/Cano'an, Eretz/Aretz or Vayisoh/Vayisah misses here were not differences of minhag, I assure you!
Also, is the Rebbe here trying to get him to stop at "VehaKena'ani oz bo'oretz"? Lubavitch stops there after Sheini but I have never seen anyone else do so. They usually stop where he does here; at "haloch v'noso'a hanegbo".
