They take it all, your ideas, your slogans

No shame. Using Uforatzto as their theme song. The nerve! Since when do AI conventions have theme songs and videos anyway? What's next? farbrengens and kinus HaShluchims?

  5. That's right they stole Uforatzto from the Igros, like one Baal Teshuva told me It says in Tanya Breishis Borah Elokim In the beginning teh Rebbe created the word, I asked if he ever opened a chumash, Breishis come first from the Chumash as does the posuk uforatzta, and gee seems Boruch Levine added some words Vhoyo zaracho keafar hooretz, I wonder where he got those words from? Tanya? a maamar? a sicha? the Igros? or did he see them on a pin? a flag? a yarmulke? or on some one's underwear? I know he found them in the Chumash, so stop looking for silly accusations and get real! As if Lubavitch invented everything, get real!

  7. When chassidim use the verse "Uforotzta" they are using it as reference to the spread of chassidus. This comes from a letter the Besht sent to his shvugger in EY about a dream he had where ELiyahu Hanavi told him that MOshiach would come after his teachings spread to all corners of the globe.

so BL is singing about a whole different Ufaratza, as I doubt he meant this dream letter.

  11. Hirshel, you missed the whole point of the convention which is the eating.

Uforatzta around the meat carving table with plates extended.

R' Avrohom Yehoshua gets it right when he dissects the convention in Chumash shiur in Brisk.
