@Reb Nosson I believe Tzig is also pointing out the grammatical issue at hand, that while others would write "chosid breslov", "haya m'adas chasidei breslov" and the like -- Here it's written in a crass way, as if another two-word label, period, without any adjectives either to accompany it.
If the guy was a "breslever chossid" his whole life, its nice that he can put that on his matzeivah. Whats the problem? It makes his family feel good and its nice.
Mock him, mock him! It sure is better than writing מקושר לנשיא דורינו with no shlita or zatzal appended, like the קדושי מומבאי and many others.
