Jacobson is a skilled speaker, he throws in some Litvish sounding things like mentioning Ketzos, Nesivos, Reb Chaim, to make the Yeshivishe eylem feel comfortable...but later on he subtly inserts in his Lubavitcher agenda. Let no one be fooled!

Torah uMesorah is a conduit for government funds, the higher per diem (translate:tuition) an institution has the more government funds are available that's why tuition went skyrocketing high! (but not teachers salaries). these gov. funds are available to the larger institutions direct and there is no need for Torah uMesorah to act as middleman (syphoning of "administrative fees") and therfore have an "opinion" on charedi education.
ReplyDeleteTorah uMesorah once offered 50-100 new school buses to the cheridi schools in Brooklyn, most including the litvish mosdos although desperate for the new buses, declined the donated buses on the call from cheridi gedolim of N.Y. not to accept any monies through the "federations" by any names.
