(What a waste of money my annual membership ended up being, even when I went I'd do very little. I just didn't have the stamina to lose weight......)
(Can Sidney Hecht still compete with Eichler's and the others down the block and around the corner?)
From
"Satan's Laundromat". Strange name for a blog, no?
You need a personal trainer who will motivate you and put you on a program that will help you to build stamina at your own pace. Get over the first few weeks of adjustment and habit change and you will be enjoying the high you get from excercise. Excercise is not a luxury, it is a neccesity!

Thanks Havemeyer, any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHirshel: Interesting pictures on that site. I appreciate you pointing out sites that I wouldn't see otherwise. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks ASJ
ReplyDeletebtw, anybody hear anything about Eichler's in Midtown closing down?
I remember the Rebbe called Hecht by his Englsih name at a farbrengung years ago.So I guess he is now Sidney rather than Shalom.
ReplyDeleteThe building pictured is actually the Esrogim center, as clearly posted on the wall there. The store is down the block.
ReplyDeleteThe Rebbe called him Sidney in public at the Farbrengen of Purim 5718, a Farbrengen for the ages. IIRC there was a mention of growing a beard? something that never actually happened.......
I still shop there, but I suspect that the Esrogim keep the store afloat.
ReplyDeleteBTW BPunbound knows him well.
where is BPUnbound? has he just upped and left us?
