I detect some stereotypical aspersions cast upon a certain group of Chassidim originating from the Romanian-Hungarian border. Notice the Baal Midos Yeshivishe type accepts his punishment with honor.
It's actually quite humerous... i wouldn't read too deeply into this video... i doubt the creators had any illicit motives behind this clip...just an attmpt at humour... perhaps they went a bit too far.
The store - clearly recognizable to anyone familiar with that area - is Five Star Judaica in Wesley Hills near Monsey - The Rabbonim should Boycott this store!
The store is 5 Star Judaica, in Wesley Hills NY, just north of Monsey. At least half of their customers are chassidim, and they have a great selection of chassidish seforim.
While the store looks like 5 Star Judaica in monsey - that is not the interior - they must have just shot the outside for film purposes - i don't think anyone should boycott just because they disagree with a stupid video clip -5 Star likely had nothing to do with it!
