The best part of the Mets' loss?

That DovBear will maybe cry in his beer and shut up for a while.

Maybe if he'd have danced Hakofos on Shemini Atzeres things would've turned out differently.

A "Modern-Orthodox", Snag, Met Fan, Democrat. Can it get any worse?

St. Louis is such a nice Republican City.

  1. DovBer is a Lubavitch Shliach in Brooklyn. I wish he would stop his blog and spend more time on his shlichus. He will deny that he is but I know first hand.

Did you ever hear this story. Can anyone verify it. It makes sense and its beutiful but I want to know if it really ahppaned. thanx.

Once the previous Satmar Rebbe R' Yoel Teitelbaum OBM was walking through the street with a few of his Chassidim when they past a Litvisher Yid who was a God fearing man and a Talmud Chochom (I think it was Reb Moshe Sherer OBM). When they approached each other The Satmer'r Rebbe stopped and spoke with him for a few minutes, and then continued on his journey.

As the Rebbe’s stroll with his Chassidim moved on one Chosid asked the Satmar Rebbe "Rebbe, how did you speak with that Jew, he has no beard?!"

The Rebbe answered him "after 120 years when that man goes to heaven the heavenly court will ask him 'Reb Yid where is your beard?" when you go to heaven they will ask you 'Reb Bord (beard) where is your Yid!'"

  6. DovBear a Lubavitcher? If so, he is doing a good job acting as devil's advocate while making frum Yidden and real Yiddishkeit look very bad.

  9. Why isn't DB a Satmarer? or a Neturei Karta mole? dream on. He's a typical Mod-Orth Apikeyres who believes that his college professors made more sense than any Maggid Shiur in YU or professor of Talmus for that matter. He just kept his mouth shut till he started blogging.

  15. Shmok, take a username like 'neveler'. Who do you think you are? You're not even lubavitch from birth and you call yourself 'neveler'?? Dream on, kid, or grow up, whichever. That's the problem with this blog thing you can create an image and try to convince yourself and others of it when it has nothing to do with reality.

please relax. You're right I'm not a Russian פויער, so what? It's no secret. Neveler is an acronym just so you know. נאך איין מזל that Lubavitch went and reached out once to the Frumme Eylem otherwise we'd be left with a bunch of farmers whose parents were פיינע אידן , but that's it.

  17. Nevel, acronym???
And maybe you'll also say that it's good lubavitch reached out and made B.T.'s because otherwise we would just be a bunch of uneducated chasidim...
Lubavitch only reached out to all these underadvantaged for the sake of elevating them not ch"v because they need them. Lubavitch iz raich.

  18. in my case it's an acronym. Lubavitch is Raich, main Sholom Ber is raich.

I wasn't speaking about the BT's, I was speaking about the FFB's. They came first.

Hey, we obviously aren't on the same page, you misunderstand everything I say. Maybe try Chaptzem blog, he may be what you need.
