For me, Hoyshanoh Rabbo night had a late night shiur and an extra long seder at night, but I couldn't stay up all night because the Batei Midrashim were all empty, and my parents were mad enough at how late I did come home. Anyways, I davened the next morning at HaNetz HaChamah.
