Well, the NYT just admitted on the front page that Saddam had detailed plans for a nuclear weapon, which would be an enormous help to anybody trying to make one; and that at least at one point he was only a year away from a working bomb. It also, in doing so, acknowledged that the archive is authentic, which means the other documents that have been translated, showing clear links between Iraq and al Qaeda, and ongoing WMD development programs, are also authentic. Thank you NYT.
It's good that Kerry shoots his mouth off, but the Republicans need more. They need a "feste" Democrat scandal to take them over the top this year.
