Incorrect, R Shmuel Shmelka Rubin, Sulitzer Rebbe in Far Rockaway doesnt have any buttons on his shirt. It has a series of ties/bows, like a pirate costume.

you are not getting it, the Rebbe did not have carpet, because of his anti Luxury stance and Kadesh Atzmoch bemutar loich, but not a fight against modernity,The non buttoned shirt is part of the Belzer hashkofa of anti Modernity,This is what Belz Chasidus stood for all the years,and that is their claim for their success against the Maskilim in Galicia.So its inconsistent with all other Belzer changes of today from the old Belz
