אההה, ווי געשמאק איז צו זיצען תחת תאנתו אין פאלם ספרינגס

(Clip updated Wednesday 11:27am - it's now several minutes longer - H/T:Gruntig)

This is where we see that a Rebbe or Rov really needs the vacation time. Can it get any better than this? Sitting in Palm Springs with 12 people talking Chassidishe Dvorim B'teilim & Sippurei Tzaddikim! But any Rov or Rebbe that sits down in such a setting really needs to know his stuff, because he's gonna get grilled, and he better have the answers, otherwise he looks foolish. But the Rebbe Reb Ahron - as in Rebbe Reb Ber... - seems to pass this test as well. Looks like my former menahel - sitting to the Satmar Rebbe's left - also needs a vacation from his Spinka job; years ago he didn't go to Palm Springs... I guess times ARE changing. And the shliach, Rabbi Denebeim, also makes his voice heard - which is nice to see!

  1. This is old news, both Satmar Rebbes have been going to Palm Springs for years already and they daven at the Chabad shul there (but they make their own minyan) and on Shabbos they make their own minyan in a local hotel.

the Zali brother goes to Miami, Mokem Sheispaleli Avoisoiv. Aron is a reformer he goes on a new path.
Are u related to Menashe Hakoten?

  6. Chabad should be embarrassed to host this charlatan.

Chabads motto is to welcome every Yid asher Beshem Yisroel Yechina,

  8. he is mistaken in one point the beis dovid holds u need to stell a chalef on one side even tough in his times there were already sakinim mlutoshim.

I saw shochtim who made chalofim in that manner they believed it made the chalef sharper.

  9. "Chabads motto is to welcome every Yid asher Beshem Yisroel Yechina"

Small caveats to this "rule" (you know, every rule has exceptions..)
*You should be rich and powerful
*If not, at least be mekabel malchis.

In this case, like it or not, Teitelbaum heads the largest chasidic/chareidy community in the U.S,probably in the whole world. That means there is a lot of money to get from them. Two small examples are the Mikva in Beijing and the brand new mikva in Jacksonville.Additionally, Chabad needs in the friends it can have amongst the black hatters, where chabad , due to their missionary activities are not very popular. An example was when Teitlebaum stood up for Chabad, who were not welcome at the technology asifa at Citifield.
Locally, Dennenbeim, gets nice financial support from Teitelbaum. What do you think, this is a free hotel???

  10. Bottom Line
I dont disagree, I just had to answer the disgruntled Satmarer( I assume a Zali) who called him a Charlatan

  11. I think the Teitelbaum-Lubavitch relationship is a marriage of convenience.
The goon squad from Upstate needs some friends in higher places and for Lubavitch photo ops with shmoineh begudem rebbelach does wonders to sanitize pics with beauty queens, etc, plus there is money and mekiruvem to be gained. For Dennebeim, a nice man, there is a chance for a daily minyan, heimishe Jews and financial support.Vus iz shlecht?

  12. it's ironic that the 30 somethings there don't need an "excuse" to be there, only Denebeim and Lubavitch need excuses...

there is a Havtocha from a big erlicher yid, that whoever takes in his luggage the Mhari Tav on shovavim, will be guarded to the fullest extent of a real shovavim Yid, may it be California or Miami

  17. "Whom do you hate more Reb Aron or chabad?"

Firstly I don't "hate", that's something, Lubavitchers do towards the ones who are not mekabel malchus
I think that Chabad is more of a danger to yiddishkait then the Upstater, but it's not an easy choice

So I got the answer, You hate Chabad more, since they are the more danger.

    I DON'T hate Chabad
You are the people full of hate.
I believe that todays Lubavitch is a danger to yiddishkait. They have Boreinuniks, Meshichists and other marin bishin.
Someone needs to help the good people in Chabad right this sinking ship and get rid of the troublemakers

  26. its important to note that the Alte Rebbe writes in letter(printed in the Igroth Kodesh, that he would eat from a pot that a Ben Yomoi, even from meat that a the new Sakinim Melitoshim were not used. I saw a nice article Of Hagoan Reb burech
    Oberlander, on this sugya.

In the back of the new Shalat Uteshovoth Admor Hazoken, Reb SD Levin has a diagram how the new knives looked vs. the old one, if I am not mistaking Reb Aron does not have it 100% correct,

The Satmar Rebbe has a point that it was part of the fight,as you see some mention in the misnagdic Pashkevilin. But this was a small screw in that big fight, having a new chumrah, does not bring out so much anger, Did the GRA not introduce the Chumra of Chodesh? in Ashkezic circles it was considered Muttar based on the Bach, did it create a machloka? for sure not.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love how its always the biggest baaley machlokes that feel they can't use the word and refer to it as machloka...

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is wrong on many aspects.

It seems to me that Reb Ahron is a maskil and a Mecharef uMegadef rhc"l. with him cynicism approach of not the gartel, not the mikvah were the core of the machlokes against the chasidim. This is a blatant lie and absurd.

Leider it turns out that Reb Ahron is a maskil and an heretic. I can't believe that no one over there stood up and protested against him.

Hershel: I beg you: Please remove this kfire'dike clip.

  31. Why Does every Chasideshe Rebbe need some Yuckel standing Behind Him Like a Golem? The Non Chasideshe Rabbonim Have No Need To Have Shmendricks Standing Behind them

  32. Open house:

This was a much bigger deal because misnagdim wouldn't eat from chasidims knives and vice versa.
It was also monetary in nature.

Doesnt the vort about the chayei odom come from zevin's Sefer?

at the same token, why was this a issue only by the russian chasidim, and not by the galicianer and polish chasidim ? did they not keep the Chumra of the Magid? only in the later years?

  36. " in Ashkezic circles it was considered Muttar based on the Bach"

The Remo was 40 years earlier than the Bach andwasmattir with a famous sfeik sfeika which is not poshut.
The reason people were meikel was that it was very difficult to be makpid on chodosh.Almost all the Rishoionim hold it's ossur bechutzlooretz, most medoraysa

The Bach quotes the Marshal and Reb Shulem Shachna were Miekel, but I dont remember the Rema,
But you see that all gedolai Ashkenaz were angry on people that were machmir.

  40. Funny how a chabad house has on the פרוכת two palm trees witch is the commen symbol for the satmer chsidus, since the last name of thair founder was טייטלבוים witch is the Yiddish translation of palm tree....I'm amazed by this rabbi, he shows real knowledge in every aspect of Torah and chassidus.

    ReplyDelete
  41. which Rabbi are you amazed by? Denebeim?

of course it has palm trees, it's in P A L M springs!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes, the palms must be why R.A.T. goes to Teitelbaum Springs. Naturally R.Z.L.T cannot go to the same place. Besides the water of our people (MeiAmi)was the minhag of earlier doros starting with R. Yoelish.

Regarding Slivovitz, it is the acqua vita (life water) of all our people from Hungary, Oberlander and Unterlander). It is the national whiskey of Hungary's Gentiles as well. It is a wonder that their sedorim dont call for anyone who is thirsty to come drink slivovitz. The only machlokes is which brand to favor. On this I don't dare opine. I would rather be caught in a fight between brothers.

I defer to others on the sharpness of the discourse on knives. I won't take sides.
