און דוקא פאר ישראל דוכמאנ'ס יארצייט פאסט טאקע אזא תיקון.
You knew R'Duchman? No offense to the man that YOU did not know at all, I"m sure he was a feineh yid, but try not to be bombastic and pompous and make believe about people you never knew.
By the way, the comment above is way off and does not respect the dead. I did not know the man, neither did you, he was a individual yid, no need to being up nastiness about him, true or not
"I knew him like you knew Rabbi Soloveitchik and Ciment"
I have never claimed to "know" them. Rabbi Soloveichik was a well known personality with many talmidim, many public lectures, published works. One is able to glean a lot about a persons personality. And yes, I gained a lot of insight into his personality reading The Rav Thinking Aloud by David Holtzer. Here what do you know about Duchman, besides lubavitcher jem videos. Whatever, Please don't drag this down to the fellow posting here who thinks he is defending Lubavitch while turning it into a mockery
" Clear enough?" No. Nothing wrong with pointing out the nice tikkun made by the family.Everything wrong in portraying yourself as having known him, and knowing what would "pas" for him. Sorry, just my opinion
Please, next time tell us before the event. I want to join in. Now I am salivating without any way of satisfying myself like that. Who is this Duchman dude? WHo did he play for? Why is he famous? DId he know how to eat too?
Reb Yisroel duchman was a yid that liked to see a other yid well fed and happy, and I knew him well He would be very happy to feed the Israeli bucherim with a geshmake breakfast.. so whats your problem Sholmele... did Holzer have a different view on duchman too?
Hirshel "ease don't drag this down to the fellow posting here who thinks he is defending Lubavitch while turning it into a mockery" I think for Kvoid Bies Lubavich you should delete all comments that are not on the same page with Shlomala and the great book of Holtzer... also never put on testimonies of chabadniks especialy pathological liars as Rav Cziment zol zien Gezunt and Rav Krinsky.
