I had seen this a while ago thanks to a dear friend who wishes to remain anonymous, but now that the link has been made public in other sites there's no reason to keep it under wraps any longer.
A splendid preview of a soon-to-be-released video about the
The Rebbe's early years. Recommended for Jews of all stripes, especially you Lubavitch haters out there.
What a splendid job! The interviews are priceless, especially Rabbi Besser and Rabbi Cohen. if only these things would've been around years ago the Rebbe's work would be much easier.
ReplyDeleteחבל חבל
&^%$ those Misnagdim who hack a Tcheinik just out of pure קנאה און שנאה
For some reason the haters will never be convinced. They were taught well and do not forget. If anybody says any different it's all "propaganda", even though the elder statesman of the American Agudas Yisroel says otherwise.
ReplyDeleteTzig, look what you've done! they removed it from the google video site! looks like you gave it too much publicity.
ReplyDeletedid the Reb Levik know about the Tzavooa of Rashab not to dress childern in Matroska Kleider ,Why was the rebbe dressed in a sailor collar ?

ReplyDeleteanonymous:
ReplyDeletebe not ashamed, name yourself!
1) what is "Matroska"? (excuse my ignorance)
2) Voo shteit aza zach?
matroska - sailor suit/shirt.
ReplyDelete1. why would he read the tzavooh in 5664 - 16 years before the Rebbe Rashab passed away?
2. why would the Rebbe Rashab's tzavooh have anything to do with Reb Levik's hanhogo? was he his son?
3. why would I think the anon is a total moron?
anonymous is the perfect example for all things wrong with TA et.al. If Berl would not bring up the fact that the ban on "matroska" was only mentioned in the Tzavooh 16 years later we would be lead to believe that Reb Levik did not care for the Rebbe Rashab. This in turn would lead to more crazy speculations and "facts", which will end up with G-d knows what.
ReplyDeleteI do not know when said tzavooh was written or if - my point was that the picture shown here is from 5664.
ReplyDelete(what's it got to do with TA?)
there was indeed an early tzavooh from ~5650 (the famous one). But who would have known about such things while the Rebbe N"A was bealmo dein 16 years before his histalkus?
ReplyDeleteHow do we find the video that you are talking about? The one that appears is Rav Kadoori meeting the Rebbe.
ReplyDeleteIt has since been removed by the author. It will be available at "judaica stores everywhere" shortly. So I'm told by my contacts at JEM.
ReplyDeleteThe letter being referred to is in the last Igros of the Rebbe Rashab, written in 5680, and he writes (quoting from memory) ..... ע"ד הישן ולא מאדערנע כמו מאטראסקע
ReplyDeleteThe point is not the Matroske per se
For those of you who got to see the whole video: What do you think of Reb Moshe Betzalel Alter's hispaalus of the Rebbe's Charifus at age 14 saying:
ReplyDeleteצו פערצן יאר? ביי אונז איז דאס נישט דא
H,
ReplyDeleteNobody disputes that your Rebbe was an unusually intelligent man.
Lehavdil, Bill Clinton had a good head too - the problem comes from decisions made.
Nota Hirsh:
ReplyDeletealthough I'm sure I've heard them a thousand times, please elaborate. Also would you mind telling me who you consider your Rov/mentor?
My mentor Is R' Noson Tzvi!
ReplyDelete(Mir for the uninitiated)
Listen, I'm no blogger, but a friend of mine showed me this site, and although I am against speaking L"H against your Rebbe, I do think Lubavitch is a dangerous phenomenon.
Not that it's evil (C"V), just dangerous.
I just want to say that intelligence doesn't make someone a Tzaddik, etc.
Tell me, I'm curious, what is the opinion of Reb Nota Hirsh about Lubavitch? Reb Nochum was by the Rebbe, you know?
ReplyDeleteI know that.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, I fear the Lubavitcher movement and what it will do to Klal Yisroel. I think my post above tells you what you want to know about my sentiments.
I asked about Reb NZ Finkel's sentiments.
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry.
ReplyDeleteI know that he has Lubavitcher relatives.
My understanding was that he didn't support or oppose, per se.
It never came up in coversations?
ReplyDeletebtw, who's eidem is he?
Nota hirsh, how can you say that
ReplyDeleteThe rebbe was tzadik and nassi hador, he performed open miricles
i am moiche what you said
