More waste of trees

Yiddish with George and Laura

From the Authors of Yiddish with Dick and Jane comes a new piece of trash that furthers the stereotype that all Jews are a bunch of promiscuous Commies who hate Goyim and basically anybody but their sorry Socialist selves. I wish these people wouldn't profane the Yiddish language with their garbage.

You'd think that living in America for over 100 years, and with the Czar no longer a threat, that these people would move on to improving themselves and focus on the threats to their existence, not George Bush.

I guess not.

(Thanks Amshinover)

  2. I'm sorry, but if you would be honest you would know that Democratic values = Judaism. Unfortunately, you ditto-heads spend too much time listening to Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the right wing attack dogs to realize this.

Republicans are against public charity (read Sodom & Gommora).

They want lower taxes - basically to keep the establishment WASP type in power instead of the immigrant Jews.

The "moral majority" republicans would like to line us Jews up for a new inquisition, but they have successfully convinced you that the church is your friend - hey, after all, we both believe in G-d! What a joke...

  3. ea - please take your medications. Your third paragraph is especially Thorazinian, and the fourth is Geodonite.

  4. Democrats are anti-religion, anti-morality and pro anything that's profane. Can any Jew possibly vote for that just because they promise handouts? puh-lease.

You make my point. Democrat values are the NEW Judaism for these people. You Vote Democrat because that's like voting for Judaism, and you bash Republicans because that's in the 10 Commandments.

is it OK to Condi Rice and accuse her of an alternative lifestyle just because she's a Republican? would such bashing be OK if she were a Democrat? I doubt it.

  7. I never said anything about bashing or double standards, etc. What I am saying is that many frum people have become card carrying members of the Republican party - when they and their platform is actually opposed to you.

  8. why is the Republican platform opposed to Jewish values? I've shown you quite the opposite. Where is institutionalized forced Charity a Torah ideal other than maybe Machtzis Hashekel?

  9. Concern for the oppressed is a Jewish value and a plank in the Democratic platform. The GOP believes in survival of the fittest... "personal responsibility," etc. No very Jewish.

The GOP wants you to maintain their version of morality (twisted as it is), and although they share many Jewish values they are intolerant of religious freedom. We want to be left alone, and that’s the furthest thing from their belief.

They are for the powerful not the average Joe! They will tell you that all you need to do is climb to the top and join the powerful – and I don’t dispute that is possible – but there will always be a lower class that they endorse stepping on. Not a very Jewish value – those were the values of Sodom & Gemora.

Concern for the earth IS a Jewish value – from this week’s parsha – and a Democratic platform plank as well. The GOP believes that the earth is not their problem.

    Need I go on???

  10. BTW, Shlomo Hamelch had an institutionalized 18% tax rate. And all jews were required to give trumos, maaseros, leket, shikcha, etc, etc, etc

  11. No, you need to stop drinking that stuff.

You sound like your Mommy read those books to you as a child.

Repubs wannna poison the water, take away lunches from poor schoolkids, and would like to throw out all the immigrants, right?

Let's ask Teddy Kennedy if he'd allow me to live Tax-free in Martha's Vineyard or Palm Beach, or if he'd allow 10,000 immigrants to move in down his block, or if he'd give me Free healthcare.

  12. No. Republicans dont want to poison water - they just dont think the issue is important. They want to leave it as is - because it costs money.
They dont want to take lunch away, they just feel that lunch shouldnt be their problem.
They definitely want immigrants - as cheep labor.

And if Teddy Kennedy dosent care either - so what? We're talking about the platform and the ideals here.

  13. Um, I believe the agency that monitors that kind of the stuff is the EPA, correct? and that was started by which president? Nixon, I believe?

What about supper and breakfast, why not force all schools to give that too, even in the summer! Besides, all funding for programs like school lunches has actually INCREASED under the current REPUBLICAN administration.

No Democrat wants nor gets the unwanteds in his/her neighborhood, so spare us the "fact" that Democrats are pro-immigration.
