you're making me hungry.
ReplyDeleteResponse to above:
ReplyDeleteYou probably mean "Hungary"!
isn't that what hungary's named after?
ReplyDeleteI have this theory about Hungarians and good food, tell me what you think about this:
ReplyDeleteThey say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. I sense that Hungarian women, who were very righteous and Frum, knew that the only way they could keep their men in line was to constantly bombard them with rich, fattening delicacies. So they cooked and baked, and baked and cooked, while the Russian and Polish women said Tzeneh Reneh. So the Hubgarian man went to shul all happy and full, while the Russian/Polish?Litvak husband looked for other ways to fill his hungry stomach. He went to the Library, the Gymnasium/College, and the Socialist/Zionsit/Bundist clubs.
