Tzig Whenever I try and understand why Lubab believe that the Rebbe is Nosi Hador, despite gimmel Tammuz, they explain to me that every generation has a leader and they see nobody who can take over from him.Why is the Amshinover Rebbe a fitting candidate for Nosi Hador and since the Nosi is also Moshiach, why not Moshiach? The Amshinover is even respected by The Lutvacks, which is no small feat, since they are obsessed with davening on time, something he surely does not do and he is mekabel EVERYBODY, besever ponim yofos, including the blogger Amshinover (sorry Amshi, but you are not an easy guy to get along with )
Isn't this Nasi HaDor concept strictly a Lubab thing? I don't know if it even precedes the RaMaSh ztuk"l. What is its source? Regarding Reb Shlomo & the Amshinover, I dunno what the great chiddush is here. It's well known that Reb Shlomo was already a Chassid of R. Meirl [the present Rebbe's grandfather], and even named "Me'or" Modiim after him. There are many statements from the Amshinover about Reb Shlomo's greatness!

*Why is the Amshinover NOT a fitting candidate for Moshiach*
ReplyDeleteThat's what I meant to write.
At this point, I think R' Chaim Kanievsky is the nasi hador.
ReplyDeleteexdentist zelda, glad to hear you think. Very healthy.
ReplyDeleteTzig, it's time to talk about this:
Jewish Gentiles
If I only had the time....
ReplyDeleteI plan on it, really I do. I just need to finish some old posts first.
Were his Chasidim being meharher achrov or were they concluding that he sees something in Shlomo that no other Charedim see?
ReplyDelete(Or did you mean that Shlomo's chevra were being meharher after Shlomo for consorting with such a straight-laced square?)

ReplyDeletewhy are you being so nasty?
Chaim G
ReplyDeleteI would defintely agree that Shlomo's Chassidim had great Hiskashrus, more than most conventional groups.
Do you suppose the Rebbe knew that Shlomo was a pothead? Or how many Jewish virgins he had seduced?
