More Brisker Notes...

Have you ever noticed how the zealots use all the extra terms of endearment when writing? How you can feel the "love" in every word they write? How you can sense the blood rush to their heads when mentioning people they dislike, for whatever reason? Page 2 speaks of the time that the BR sent Menachem Porush to speak to the FR about the law of Chok Chovah that was about to take hold in Israel. There too you can see the "love." No credit is given after they succeeded to stop that law from going into effect.

    its a LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there are dozens of letters with Menachem Porush and Agudas Yisroel, where you see he worked hand in hand with them.

    Help me understand.
One the one hand you talk about the dreadful hate the Misnagdem have towards the truth i.e Lubavitch and on the other hand you continously claim how everyone was in awe of Lubavitch and how these Brisker Wiki leaks were it says that the Brisker Rov disliked Lubavitch and Breslov was written by a terrible hate monger and liar.Bichlal, you claim your website is to defend from all the hate out there against Chabad while at the same time you claim that almost everyone is in awe and loves Lubavitch??
I think we need an answer here.

(maybe you"ll come up with a Brisker Torah of tzvei dinim??)

  7. Moshe, Lubavitch are just desperate for approval, that's all.

  8. Moshe,

you don't get it, do you. We hate chabad because - way down deep, even unbeknownst to us - we are ma'kir, that they are the 'true' Jews and that the emes is over there, r"l. Hence, our sinah (or general discomfort at the very sight of a Chabatzker) is really rooted in jealousy. They believe that our views on Chabad is analgous to the sinah the goyim have for the Yidden!! That's right. That's what those people believe [and they wonder why we have a visceral repulsion...]

  9. icey baby. Calm down. You probably have only been around the extreme Meshichists. Normal Lubavitchers don't think like that.

first is all thats written in this Reshimos emes Veyatziv?
did the Brisker Ruv say this stupidity on Chabad? yes or no?

  11. Right now the only contender left standing is Breslov;Lubavitz is going the way of the old time American Jew:Synagogeue parking lots, singles events, softball, and multicultural wine bars. Why doesn't someone from the long beards scream gevald?

  13. Wow, its rare to get glimpse of raw pathological, diabolical hatred, usually you are witnessing such in fringe corners of the internet, left or right, but not in mainstream places,

But this site attracts those who are indeed saturated with visceral primitive hate. Its amazing that the writer, or rather ranter, claims that the Chabad view that her haters as virulent rabid antisemitic hate is just nonsense as if that argument doesn't need to be refuted its just inane.

But this hate site which has hundreds of empty souls constantly claiming that Chabad is so repulsive and irrelevant but nevertheless are obsessed to read this blog or the Chabad sites religously.

Amazing: Chabad is so alien, so marginalized, so insane, yet the same ranters are actual commenting, arguing ferociously on a quasi Chabad site. Its the nature of the stalker, rapist to betray such pathological behavior!

Why I couldn't care less to read some crazy site which I detest, why don't I follow some movement that is totally on the wane?

The fact is that the haters sense quite well in their gut that in spite their wishes, fantasies, Chabad is not disappearing, Chabad is not becoming extinct despite its problems, and its leaderless status. Chabad is a vital movement and still is quite relevant and a constant danger to every other community (In the sense that it has a tremendous attraction to minds and hearts of the youth). Indeed this is not envy in the classical sense, but it drives them mad nevertheless.

    Why?

To explain this strange phenomenon you need another post

  14. What he writes about Rav Kook in #60 is a total fabrication. After Rav Kook was Rav in Biosk (on the Chafetz Chaim's suggestion) and Zoimel, he became the Rav of Yafo and the surrounding settlements. He then went to the First Kenisiya Gedola and WWI began and he couldn't return to Eretz Yisrael. He spent time in Switzerland and then agreed to become a Rav in England until he could return to Eretz Yisrael.
Other sefarim have picked up on this incorrect statement as well.

  15. Mordechai
this whole thing to call Kook with no harav, is immatureness at his best, even Reb Yoelish in his Teshuva calls him Rav Kook. Besides this claim that Reb Chaim saw him in his early years as a Kal Daas is total revisionism, He was famous in yeshivas Valozhin as a Yerie Shomaim, (as reported in Yeshurin in the name of his classmate Rav Bengis the Rav of Eida Charadies.)

I thought your rag of a comment wasn't worthy of being so much as glanced upon --

But to set the record straight. See here for the Rebbe's peulos the night of FR's arrest (contrary to another rag of Tolner wikileaks' claim):

    http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=15870&st=&pgnum=187

(and others in the same sefer). See the new Igros of the FR, where the Rebbe was quite involved in printing/compiling sifrei chassidus and kovtzei HaTomim (besides the Reshimos in such troubled times)..

Maybe stop by Mechila at the Ohel hakodosh when you're next in Queens.

  21. Hirshel,
Every statement, phrase and clause in Moshe's question, including his addressing it to me, is a falsehood. I don't have to respond, do I?

    me: thank you.

  22. Hirshel&Yehupitz,

    Firstly,
Yehupitz,I addressed the question to you as well, as you are an alumnus of a Misnagdic yeshiva who has taken up with Lubavitch post gimmel Tammuz and has a perspective that Hirshel who did not attend such yeshivas may lack.

I don't know what exactly you call every statement being "false" means. The statement mission of the blog is to counter this "hate",isn't it?
Unless I"m mistaken the general feeling in Chabad which I have gleened from personal discussions and the web is that there is a great amount of hate or jealousy towards Chabad (i heard of people that the Rebbe himself warned them to watch out from Misnagdim).

So basically back to the question:If there is so much hate, why call what is said in the name of the Brisker Rov about Chabad and Breslov as lies??

I think that someone who is familiar with the Yeshivishe world knows that Brisk,at least todays Brisk, of the The Brisker Rov as opposed to his nephews, are not friends at all of Chabad. It's easily verifiable.
I personally heard from a relative of R'Yoisef Heller, who studied by R'Dovid Soloveichik iirc, that after R'Yoisef joined Lubavitch had terrible agmas nefesh.Lubavitchers are unfortunately persona non grata in Beis Brisk yeshivos.Though,I do know of the son of a shaliach from CT who learns by R'Dovid
