The Algemainer had an article how Gabor Vona of the Jobbik party is challenging the shliach R' Shlomo Koves to a debate in order to "prove" that Jobbik is not anti-Semitic.
This seems to confirm what has been known for the last few years that anti-Semitism in Hungary, under the guise of ultra-nationalism, is only getter stronger. The expansion of shluchim in this sensitive environment can be simultaneously supportive for the local Jewish communities - & confrontational, even provocative, towards the larger gentile millieu.
