You see the crazy thing is that rabbi vigler claims he is not trying to convert people but we all knew thats a lie. You too are sick why does it have to be that a Lubavitch Message is being given Why not plain old Torah And about those 450 people .....
Anon "You too are sick why does it have to be that a Lubavitch Message is being given Why not plain old Torah " In Belarus the call torah Lubavich, so you can translate it if you want
Nobody throws out "old Torah". And why chassidus - just read "Kuntres inyono shel Toiras hachassidus" that would be much more comprehensive and convincing than 2 lines in blog comment. If you are interested in answer of course (which I doubt).
"Proof that a Lubavitcher message can get through to frum people.... if done right"
Huh? What does "if done right" mean? That he has to disguise it, and not call it Habad House, Lubavitch, Beis Menachem, Schneersohn Center, Beis Menachem Mendel, un azey vaiter, rather using an neutral and non Lubavitch sounding name instead, in order to fool the naive and unsuspecting aylem out there?
Why don't see a photo of the Rebbe among the pictures??
Is he embarassed to be a Lubavitcher? Is he ashamed of the Rebbe? Let him come out and say openly that he is a Chossid of the Rebbe!
He makes no secret of the fact that he's a Lubavitcher. I've attended a few of Rabbi Vigler's farbrengens and as someone who is very far from any kind of chossid, I was wowed by his bekius in "normal" torah. The reason he appeals to frum people is that same Torah plus the chassidus he teaches, which comes out of seforim and has a coherent point as opposed to vague flag-waving and improbable story telling. Whether he's converting people or not, he has a nice oilem with good shiurim. Maybe other shluchim could learn from him...
what with a smorgasbord?

ReplyDeleteIf so, why is there no picture of the Rebbe in sight? What is he hiding? Let the people see who the mishaleiach is!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why there needs to be a picture of the Rebbe here...
