How about a yom hazokoron where religious Jews can feel comfortable in mourning the kedoshim[as opposed to nissan27]? It seems that this is a task that our gedolim just can't come to terms with. Please don't tell me it's Tishe b'av because if that's the case why was Khof sivan established for Tach ve Tat? Wouldn't Tisha Be'av have sufficed? Why was vov leseder Chukas established to remember the burning of the sifrei torah in France in the 1300's. Wouldn't Tisha b'av have sufficed?Isn't there a godol who will lead the way on this? The Nesivos Sholom zt'l made a yom hazikoron for the Slonimer Hassidim killed in the holocaust sometime in Mar Cheshvan. He didn't accept the excuse that we have Tisha B'Av.If we can't do a fast day then let's do a day of learning and tehillim and remembering. Why not?
Actually the Chief Rabbinate of Israel designated asarah B Teves as a memorial for the Kedoshim. Survivors were advised to study the Mishna Yomis ( established in 1947 in memory of the Kedoshim) and say Kadish after its study
are you avoiding the tumult about zman mag and the fact that RMYL and r' kopelman being nifter and r' elayshav having surgery?? the whole world is talking about it are you asleep at the wheel?
thanks r` tzvi for having this in mind, my point is - in belz r` aron never spoke about it never made a propganda about it. in belz of today they use it not as much to remember what happened to our grandparents, but they do it to promote themselfs on the account of the six million, its not at all for the reason so the generations of the future should know what happened.
in skver the only story about the war will be that the old skver revvi rebbi drank 2 cups of water instead of one...
in bobov on the other side alway repeated stories of the holocaust his own his family ect.
Anon7:58 Since the Chief Rabbinate proclaimed the day it automatically becomes "suspect" in the eyes of the Haredi world. It's all politics but that's the world we live in.
Where does Belz and Bobov come into this? One takes money from destitute Chassidim to buy a hall full of chandeliers and the other one is pure machloikes.
The baal hachurban would be pleased to know how much these great kreizen are supporting his opinion of Jews.

ReplyDeleteNever mind the semicolon instead of the apostrophe, and your spelling that makes his name look like sukkah cover.
You forgot the M in front of the R. And we don't write YMS but we can write ONSBM (of not so blessed memory) or A"Z (arur zichro).
Very Perturbed.
