 I don’t work for Reb Mendel Hager’s שוואנצונעס club, but I saw today in a book of an old Vizhnitzer chusid, Reb Yankel Valtzer, one of the old time types that L-O-V-E-D his Rebbe, saying before starting הבדלה: Bezchus the הייליגער Rebbe, bezchus the הייליגער Rebbe's kinder, הנה קל ....... I think it's his eynikel, Yankel Valtzer, that left the Mendelist camp and went over to main Bene Beraq Wizhnnitz, and was rewarded with the Mazkir Agudas Yisroel job, much to the dismay of the Mendelisten.

So there is a deep state culture from which R' Mendel is taking his ideas -----

Reb Zalman Gelerenter was a Yid from Horibishov in גאליציע who made sure that the town was not forgotten. And davka in Crown Heights! He passed away on this day - 29 Shvat - in 5775.
