חסידות מצויינת מאמר ד"ה טוב שם משמן טוב, תרפ"ז
Shalom U'vracha,
In honor of Yud Bais - Yud Gimmel Tammuz, Chag HaGeulah, please find attached Chassidus Metzuyenes on the Ma'amar of the Rebbe Rayatz "Tov Shem Mishemen Tov", which he said just 2 months before his imprisonment. Due to the desire to share this Ma'amar, I am sending it out even though the notes have not been completed. The Ma'amar was said on Bais Nissan, 7 years after the Histalkus of the Rebbe Rashab, on his Yahrzeit. There are many open and hidden references that the Rayatz refers to his father the Rebbe Rashab as the 7th from the Besh"t , the Moshe Rabbeinu of the Dor, and his Koach of Mesiras Nefesh. It would be fair to say that the content of this Ma'amar was later a tremendous support for the Rebbe Rayatz and it gave him extra Koach to be Moser Nefesh for Chassidus, as a continuation in his father's footsteps. It is a great zechus to learn this Maamar on Yud Bais-Yud Gimmel Tammuz, and may it speed the way for the Geulah Shleimah.
May we hear Besoros Tovos, especially from Eretz Yisroel.

addendum - letters from the Rebbe Rayatz נ"ע to RYDS
Here's what I have so far. There are more, I just can't post them all. Smaller pictures can be clicked on. I bring a page from Rakeffet's book as well, since one of you asked for "proof." I believe it was Elchonon. Not all of the letters are proof, but they're very nice to see in any case.

"י"ב-י"ג תמוז א גאולה פאר "כל אשר בשם ישראל יכונה
What we have here is a link to רשימת המאסר, where the Rebbe ריי"צ נ"ע writes about his arrest, the days he spent in jail and exile, as well as some of the history of Lubavitch. We often speak of the mesiras nefesh that Chassidim in the Soviet Union carried out, but seeing the Rebbe's words here is extra special and should be required reading for all those who are interested to see how a Manhig Yisroel speaks and thinks. Although you won't read much about the activities in Russia here, you can see how the connection to such a Tzaddik, Rebbe and Nosi is what inspired these baalei mesiras nefesh.
דאס האט דער בעש"ט הק' געמיינט מיט חסידות ---- While in Kastroma, Russia in exile the Rebbe spoke the following powerful words, despite the fact that he had just been released from a death sentence and was still being watched by agents who understood his every word!

While on the topic of Russian Jewry; what do you make of what the Tendler family writes here about Reb Moshe's opinion about the Soviet Government - as if they were to be listened to even in matters of Torah, since דינא דמלכותא דינא.... Are they stam being מוציא לע"ז on their shver/zeide, just to be P.C.?
