A Farbrengen with Shliach Reb Dovid Eidelman ע"ה in Four Parts: London, Tammuz, 5748 -
Reb Dovid Eidelman was a legend, to use an overused cliche. Not a legend, like, say, the director of Camp Agudah, but a real legend. A man who was on shlichus in a college town in Massachusetts for close to 70 years, until his dying day, to use a cliche. But there were times when he traveled a bit. Maybe for family simchos or such occasions. But he was also a master farbrenger and storyteller. I had the zechus to hear him several times back in the day. Born in Baltimore and educated in Tomchei Tmimim in NY, Reb Dovid could relate to American boys without losing the old world flair that he consumed in Lubavitch. Yehi Zichro Boruch.

י"ט כסלו תשכ"ב - אפסטעיר"ס
On YomTov, up until the passing of his mother-in-law on 10 Teves 5731, keyodua, the Rebbe would eat the seudos upstairs in the Frierdige Rebbe's apartment. There were other occasions, such as Purim, Yud Tes Kislev and Yud Beis Tammuz, when there would be a small, short farbrengen before the large farbrengen in 770. These pictures are from one such farbrengen, Yud Tes Kislev 5722. Near the Rebbe sits Reb Shmuel Levitin and next to him Reb Shlomo Aron Kazarnovsky. The late Leibel Bistritzky is also visible standing behind RSAK in picture 4.

happenings at YU with @Hamashpia
"Farbrengen with the Mashpia"
Sources from the farbrengen tell me it was an unbelievable sight. Dancing with a jam-packed crowd singing the Rosh Chodesh Kislev niggun! The air was electric. The crowd was estimated at 200 people!
Listen to the farbrengen Here (h/t Menachem Butler @myshtender)
