זכרונות של הגה"ח ר' ישראל (טעפליקער) אולידורט ע"ה

Reb Yisroel was a Skverrer/Rachmistrivker Chossid who left the Soviet Union in 1971 and passed away in 1994. He authored the sefer מבט המצוות. His eynikel is the well-known Chabad researcher (FLOABT) Reb Dovid Olidort. His connection to Chabad started  - like many others - with his children learning in Chabad underground Yeshivos in the USSR because that's all there was. He was "לאו דוקא" a Lubavitcher Chossid, even later in life. It's interesting how the Rebbe encouraged him to publish record his memoirs, even if it does highlight the work of others than Lubavitch in the USSR.
