Ernst Bloch gets his day
I was apprehensive to watch it at first, which I'm sure you can understand. After all is said and done; despite the fact that BMR is a big part of the interviews here, we can all say that this was an OK film, even if Torah Jews are misunderstood by the secular and Gentiles. Compared to the book, which gave a platform for the LubavitcH bashers and dragged in every irrelevant story and MACHLOKEH, this program is gold. Ironically, where I sit now YouTube is blocked, so I cannot "see" what I'm posting. Please do not turn this thread into a Lubavitch bashfest; You'll be wasting your time writing them, since your comments will simply not be accepted.

When you disallow chabad bashing, you end up with no comments.
interesting how BG is the only one to have a Hebrew dub - obscuring him speaking in English.
Yossel
believe it or not there were no Chabad-bashing comments!
Hey there!
You were "apprehensive" to watch it.Why?
You see, my friend, truth that you wouldn't "like" you are "apprehensive" of.A true truth seeker just wants to know the facts.
Obviously you are not a real truth seeker if you are a latter day Chabad-nik,because it's kuloi sheker starting from the who the Nosi Hador is,although there is a problem that to be candidate for Nosi Hador one must be be'olom hazeh, thru the Moshiach and Shlitaniks.
You have built up a dream world and you don't want anyone to show you any facts.
Can we still beat up on Lakewood?
I still don't understand why Chabadniks are bothered by the book apart from his questions at the end. Is the actual history considered inaccurate? When I read it, I thought it comprised of good research.
do you mean the part in the book where the lubavtichers never paid their legal bills?
