written nicely, but very poorly done... it would be nice if he would generous with their differences, their disagreements and the Rav statements as recorded in the Rav Speaks. too bad...
Poorcriticizing a writer for not including in a article of 1500 words , some book that is not recognized by no one, is very shoddy critic.
very typical chabad response... there are lots of words that are superfluous in the article.. but if the Zhlob, would have not been a zhlob, and have looked in the footnotes, the unrecognized book, is quoted and "recognized" by the writer.. who did a poor job...
Poor, what do you want from Rabbi Rakeffet? The Modern Orthodox YU niks (not all, but too many) are racing with each other to kiss the feet of Lubavitch. A naye mishugas.Richard Joel, YU President, is keynoting a tribute to the Rebbe next week in NJ - see http://www.nachumsegal.com/nachum-guests-invite-everyone-pay-tribute-lubavitcher-rebbe-zl-rca-june-23/Is Joel going to announce that YU is becoming a Lubavitch subsidiary?
wake up, why do you think that is? what suddenly turned the MOs on to Chabad and the LR?
I hear ya... Rakeffet loves Chabad, although he himself asked the question that provoked the Rav laughing at Chabad teaching Tanya... And tzig is pushing this new move of Chabad to Modern Orthodoxy.
I think krinsky would be wise to bail out YU of their financial mess and take over the institution.
poorI'm pushing what???!!!
"dovy said... wake up, why do you think that is? what suddenly turned the MOs on to Chabad and the LR? "The MO feel rejected by the right wing frum community, who reject Lubavitch as well. So the two marginalized groups become friends with each other.Rakeffet and people like him have it in for the Lakewood type crowd. Who are the great antagonists of Lubavitch. So therefore Rakeffet and Co. team up with Lubav. to spite them.
YU just raised the bidding start price.
