ש"ב דער סיגעט-סאטמאר רבי'ן ז"ל

Son of the Atzei Chaim, and nephew of the Satmar Rov. He was Rov in Zenta, Yugoslavia prior to WW2, and in the Sigheter Shul in Boro Park until the passing of his uncle.

I take no responsibility for the accuracies or inaccuracies in Wikipedia.

From the local KJ paper

I had the pleasure of spending Hoshana Rabboh 5747 (or was it 5748?) in Satmarer Beis Medrish on Rodney Street.

With all my respect, but where did you learn how to write Yiddish? it should be דער and not די רבי.

how?

Yoshe

I never did get those rules right, they never taught it to us in my Boro Park Cheyder.

You remind me of a joke they used to make about the "MahaRas"h of Bobov (the second) - before he reached saint status and became beyond reproach - about how he was sitting with two other Rabbonim who were a discussion "in lernen", and his only comment on the whole sugya was: דאכט זיך מיר אז די היים פלעגט מען זאגען "ליחעאורה" נישט לכאורה", meaning the emphasis on the letter chof.

That's all you have to say on what I wrote?

That's all, indeed. After Gimmel Tammus the Szigheter z.y.o. remarked:"I didn't talk about him (the Rebbe) when he was alive,so I don't talk about him now." I'll follow his advice.

From which angle are you related?

put it this way, I was a closer relation to his uncle and even closer to Yossel Ashkenazi.
