a recent ad in the "rusty nail" newspaper featuring Coca Cola:
notice the Kashrus symbol.
what it should look like:
It seems like certain everloving people in Bnei Brak don't like the Rov of the city, so they decide to disregard him. And we're the ones that are hateful, right?

he does not certify it kosher l'pesach.
so how did his name end up there anyway?
Coke is not Kosher L'Pesach? why does the Yated say it does? but that's besides the point here.
Also, the second symbol is for illustration purposes only.
wow - have you seen this anywhere else?
How did Rav Landa become Rov of B'nei Brak?
Where's the RY Farkas story you promised?
R'Landau is actually not the official, mita'am hamedinah rav of Bnei Brak, for what it's worth.I.e his salary is not paid by the medinah.I think there is a rav,r'korach ,a yemenite, who is the 'official' rov.
You are right that it's immature to white out his position, but in emmes arayn, they don't have to accept his rabbonus. They are a large segment of the shtot and at the time of his dads passing were not maskim that he should become rov.Can you force them?
that looks like 'yechi' on the second line of the ad.
but he is the Rov, they never put up anybody else! Until then respect the man!
Rabbosai this is not unusual in the frum Charedi world. When the Charedi papers (DER YID etc) mention someone like rabbi Breuer rav of an Aguda Beth medrash in Flatbush he is always called rav of Khal AG.I. so is the case with the kehilla of rabbi Geshtetner in Bnai Brak caled Kiryat AGI.
My institution YU is never refered to at all For example Rav Dovid Lifshutz a rosh here for over 50 yeras was always called the Suvalker rev by the Charedi media when they felt the need to mention him. My rav rabbi Shimen Romm rosh here for over 40 years was called by the Stolin Karlin journal not rosh of Riets but migedolei talmide Mir !!! And I can go on the rav himself is sometimes "ided" as Rav Joseph Baer Soloveitchik MiBrisk not Rosh of RIETS for 50 years. And I can go on. This is a general machala in the Charedi world. I am not justifying it at all !
