Its shocking that in a offical Satmar Organ, they are quoting Maskilim literture left and right.
I guess the Maskil of today is Reb Ovadia and his Maskilic seforim, which will never be quoted in that school.

This satmar writer seems to side with non frum zionist from Haaretz against the Maharayatz from Chabad..

Hirshel,

There was a levaya 6 weeks ago for a Rubashkin in a Catholic church in Maine. Since it was such odd thing to read I looked into it further. It seems the father of the niftar was a meshumad who renamed himself "Paul Constantine" and somehow managed to marry a shiksa WASP named Salisbury while he was still in Russland. The meshumad came to America in the late 1940s.

Are there Rubashkins from anywhere else besides Nevel?

dovy,

A sense of humor may help. Laughing is better than crying... and in this instance there no issue of Derech Eretz, just delusions.....

Trust me I am and promote Mokeer Rabanan...

Bikaboloh from eltere chasidim, that the AR had an incision mark on his nose, due to a surgery he had on it. In the older images of this portrait, there is shade in that area that looks like a mark. This, they said, was to cover up that blemish.

But then again, it could just be a penumbra shade technique.
