In one area I have found that Bobov was much more aggressive & protective of potential kiruv recruits than Lubavitch. Yes, Bobov is involved in kiruv sometimes outside of Boro Park. One Bobover in charge may have had a complex to be over-aggressive because he himself was a Belzer who "converted" so maybe he thought he had to prove himself more. Another figure that Bobov hired for kiruv was a Breslover. They eventually threw him out in a very ugly way. I am speculating that they got fed up maybe with R' Nachman indoctrination instead of the flavor they wanted.

The Breslover that was thrown out of Bobov also had his son thrown out of the Bobover cheder as another way of punishing him. Because he had no where else to go, he came back to the cheder anyway. A sadistic Bobover melamed took this yingel & threw him out a 2nd or 3rd floor window into an asphalt parking lot. The yingel went to the hospital for months with serious injuries and is fortunate to be alive today. The police were very farshloffen and allowed the sicko melamed to flee the country which is when they stopped investigating him. The yingel is a baal kishron who eventually went on to learn in Brisk.
