A letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע to Reb Yitzchok Dubov of Manchester, England, where among other things he speaks about the יום סגולה ל"ג בעומר, where to some people it's just another day.... See 'אות ה - but the Rebbe is מלמד זכות on them too, I guess.

the Rebbe brings a interesting idea from the CS, that according ton his count, he figured that Lag Beomer was the first of the Man, and its worth to celebrate just for that. The CS was against the Miron celebrations for many reasons, but has many original ideas, on the uniqueness of the day
for the one that always complains that he does not get credit.. will you ever give credit to where you scan and lift things from.. its only yosher..
