One thing I have a hard time with is the "ענק", "עטץ" and other such words like "פארשטייטץ", that should be בבחינת לא יזכר ולא יפקד in a publication from Stolin-Karlin (Karlin-Stolin). I guess being in Boro Park all these years has its disadvantages.

Reb Mendel was not only a chusid of the Reshab, as they potray in the article.
His mesiras nefesh for yiddishkiet was all in the era of the Rebbe Rayatz
And his ibergegebenkeit and going on shlichus (as a shadar) and hiskashrus was to the Rebbe.
but whatever, it's all details anyway...
Reb Mendel was not a chusid of the rebbe rashab he was to Young for that.
He had a yechidus with the rebbe rashab when he was 3 years old
