why did the good rabbi marry a mrs. and not a rebetzen?

I live in a vibrant southern community of mostly modern orthodoxy jews where there is a mixture of hasidim and musnagdim living in harmony, the most admired rebbe inspired here is Rav Kook, and the Rabbi Carlbach, these two great men have a special place and meaning in our community and talked highly of, so I'm glad for bringing up his excellency and family.

He must of started out more like an ashkanazi type portrait living family, perhaps the "hippie" culture of free style living if the 60's which was very liberating, (and affected all communities at the time, for good or bad knowingly or not.) affected Rabbi Carlbach too, of which he became a jewish/icon of it, and a relic of that times like vietnam vets and Woodstock hippie festival lingering crowd, which in my opinion Woodstock was the after shock and the final resting of that era.

From about 1970 into the 80's reb shlomo would come to 29 ben mimon st in rehavia at the home of moniqe ann gabreal goldberg , 15 weeks a year. 1) the biggest avera in the world is to be shallow
2)the worst thing to do (at a shabbas table ) is to read a text to people (instead of speaking
3) someone asked the L rebbe if he should marry this girl... The rebbe said no... If you really wanted to marry her tou woudn't ask me

This one I like best, I'm not sure if all my guest agree with it, sometimes you need to listen too.
