Here's what constitutes "Purim Shtick" for the fine Bnei Towrah at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College High School

A word to my fellow Lubavitcher Chassidim and friends of Lubavitch:

There are several pictures that "cross the line" so to speak. Yet, after deliberation and consultation with friends, I've decided to post all the pictures that have reached the desk of this blog. To show the world where misplaced differences can sometimes lead. As of now, several hours after these pictures surfaced, no word has been from the הנהלה of Ner Israel. Maybe they think it's OK because it's Chodesh Adar. Maybe they're naive as to what year we live in. I don't know. But I do know that nobody I showed it to, even the lighthearted ones, thought some of this was funny.

If you'd like to voice your displeasure you can call the Yeshiva office and ask to speak to the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Aron Feldman, who is also a sitting member of the Moetzes Gedolei haTorah of the Agudath Israel of America.  Phone: (410) 484-7200 . I'm not sure who the HS Principl is these days.

Chaim Berlin's record is stuck in 1963....

The music, the band ----- it's priceless! I just played that LP on my ancient record player. It's like from 1963. Maybe Rudy Teppel or somebody like that. The band they hire at CB has like 4 alto saxophones and a trombone, or whatever they call it. And the drummer that plays so light he's putting you to sleep. I guess they try and hold on to Stone Avenue and the Rosh Yeshiva zt"l.

תענית אסתר וקריאת המגילה אין סאטמאר - תשכ"ה

הערט און האט הנאה/ווערט נתעורר

Click on link and audio will start automatically. Clip begins in middle of Krias HaTorah for Taanis Esther. I'm not sure if the בעל קורא is the סאטמאר רב himself or not, but the מגילה is.

"מיר זענען חברים צוריק"

Not that it was ever necessary - to apologize, that is. There was nothing wrong done there. Lubavitch does it too. Lubavitch has been delegitimatized. The Satmar Rov. zt"l, allowed leitzonus at the tish on Purim-Shushan Purim. It was the Zalis, not us. Get over it. You guys are waaaay too sensitive. You took the books out of Warsaw. You go to China just like Burger King does. The Holy Skverrer said Lubavitch was treyf. And the list goes on, and on, and on. But despite all that we never allowed it. It happened in our shul, with our leader giggling the whole time at the play, but we never allowed it. But we should've, cuz you guys are not legitimate anyway. But we didn't.

On with life. Pesach's almost here.
