On Yom Kippur 5710 they made an appeal for the Joint/UJA in גרויס בעסמעדרעש in Satmar

Apparently they were told that the appeal was for the Joint, not UJA. That kashered it. Satmar received lots of help from the Joint in the early years of settling in America, as did many others. Including Lubavitch, of course. Many Jews received apartments and weekly stipends from the Joint. I guess this was a way of showing appreciation? UJA was treyf, I assume, because it was Zionist/Reform/Neolog. But the Joint was basically the same treyf, so go figure. Hard to tell when the appeal took place, before Kol Nidrei? after Shachris?

Yeshiva Torah Vodaas Graduation - 1949 (famous names here!)

Rabbi Moshe Wolfson and Rabbi Sholom Rivkin, to name a few. The Rav HaRoshi, HaRav Herzog spoke at the חג הסמיכה, as did Rav Gedalia Schorr, The Novominsker Rebbe, great-uncle of the current Rebbe, as well as Rav Moshe D Rivkin, Rav Ruven Grozovsky, Rav Yaakov Kamenecki and Rav Nissan Telushkin. Mind you, this is the Brooklyn Eagle, not the Yated, which shows us that showing the general world what we do in Yeshivos was important even back then. It isn't something new that some "מתחדשים" came up with. Letters from Pres. Truman (!) and then-Mayor O'Dwyer were read! They went all out.

1949 - Chassidishe Rebbes calling for a חזית דתית מאוחדת

It happened once and lasted 21/2 years, from Feb.1949 to Aug.1951. And I don't believe it ever happened again. Agudah, Poalei Agudah, Mizrachi and HaPoel HaMizrachi. Anybody know why? Do you notice anything about the signatures? That's right, there are only Chasidishe Rebbes on it. Not a single non-Hasid. No Litvishe Rabbonim nor Rosheshives.  Did Kol korehs work that way? separate but equal? Judging from the fact that The Agudah was not all Chassidish I would assume that the Litvishe Gedolim also supported this united front, so why did they not all sign together? And why did it never happen again? Who backed out? Who decided against it? What were the Brisker Rov and Chazon Ish's opinions about the bloc? Were they for it before they were against it? I cannot recall at the moment and am having a hard time finding it in the history books.
