תשורה משמחת נישואין גראנער-וויינגארטען

The חתן is an eynikel of the "legendary" Reb Itche Groner of Melbourne, ע"ה, who was a venerable treasure of stories from back in the early days of Lubavitch in the US, and who is the source of many of the stories here. I thank he who sent it to me.

The Vort of the FR, that the Maagid of Mezrich was selecting to write the Shulchan Orech, between 5 talmidim was printed years ago in the Hakdoma of Nitei Gavriel Hilchas Nidah I think he quoted Rav Groner.
And I wondered then how Reb Elimelech was in that primary list? But I guess the Maagid knew more then I know..

Dude, no one here in Melbourne ever referred to him as Reb Itche.

Most people probably never even knew his name.

He was always called Rabbi Groner in the shtut, and stam 'Groner' by most of anash d'chabad, but not in a disrespectful way.
