Poetry Corner

Radloh sent me this, asking me to post a poem he composed. I have an Ungarishe Kup, and I have no idea why I'm supposed to appreciate it. Can you help?

אין חבוש מתיר את עצמו

HAIKU

The fly flew, squeezed by

the little hole in the screen,

but could not get back through.

He wishes he could get back to loving Yiddishkeit. He wishes he had the ability to get rid of the anger. He's the fly, and he's trapped. Or at least he feels so.

The problom is, like the fly, he's looking for the same hole that he escaped from. However, the hole for return isn't the same. The return is done by makign oneself small enough to fit in. Ten Lechcochom Vyachkim ayd. (and he's a chochom)

The question, does the hole cause the mouse?

The issue is of course that the fly made too small a hole. Would he have made the hole bigger he could have gotten back through.

A fly, a fly
Has no help from on high,

But it’s a function of the Jewish soul,
That can make another hole.

has the ability or has the willpower? He actually has both. All it takes is מ'זאל וועלען מיט אן אמת

and he jolly well knows that.
