Yasher keyach.

What is this - a continuation of the Telshe thread ? Didn't the Minkaczer learn in Telz ? Ken zein the Ponevezher Rav, lihavdil, did too.

Hershel, maybe that is something you should focus on. The Minkaczer in Telz. How long was he there? Why did he go there? What ages was he when he was there? Also, maybe discuss other famous Chassidishe, banshakim, who went there.

Was he your father's buddy there?

A froelichen Sabbes !

snag

The Munkacser is a few years older than my father, so I don't remember now if they were there together. I need to ask. I believe the Dinover - his brother - was there at the same time, as was the Spinker Rebbe's sons. I do find that interesting, all those Banshakim in Litvishe Yeshivos. A little inferiority complex, perhaps?

The Ponovizher Rov I believe was a Telsher Talmid.
