.....שווער צו זיין א גאנצן טאג ביים לערנען

What to do if you're bored in Yerushalayim

In short, you go watch a dybbuk being banished from some poor zhlub's body by Hakham Basri. Maybe the Hakham waited till after night seder was over in the Yeshivos Kedoshos to perform the ritual. Or maybe even after Hatzot. I thought these things were supposed to be private matters, and that only 10 special people attend the exorcism. Those who do can remember the dybbuk he removed from a person back in 5760, right before the elections in Israel that would net the Sefardic Shas party 17 seats in the Knesset elections.

Not that I'm implying it had something to do with the election....

Back in the day chasidim only celebrated the foreign festival by not learning. Now they're also following chukas hagoy with the exorcisms. I'm waiting for the hakham to bring a candle and a tanakh too. The shofar can be in place of the bell.

I wonder what doctors have to say about his medical condition? after all, we are not living in the 16th century.

Also, I wouldn't want to be around when the Dibbuk is finally driven out of its current host. I have seen to many alien movies where the invader immediately looks for a new host.

I'm talking about the audience. After all, that's who he's playing for.

Hirshel,
I am starting to believe that the Dibukk and Baczri are for real, since I see that the MO's and Eidelsohn of Daas Torah hates him. Most of the time it is my barometer for deciding where the authentic torah view is.
